Just arranged a deal for my new Husaberg 300 2 stroke from Lincoln at KTM Newcastle 02 49572930 its due in October 2010 sometime, numbers are limited on 250 and 300 cc so deposits are required, i will ride it for KTM Newcastle in my old Electorate of Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, Condo, Cobar and out to Broken HIll.
It has SXF twin chamber forks and Berg plastics but its just in time as i was about to order a KTM 300 so it wont look out of place next to my three 650s which are just a bit heavy for some of the riding i want to do now.
It may be a rebadged KTM and i realise that Husaberg probably have a whole new version on the drawing board with EFI and 70 degree cylinder but i can wait if i leave it any longer i will be racing mobility scooters.
Apparently sole Berg dealers in Australia needed some more bikes in the lineup and the 2 strokes are designed to give them some more market coverage.
Lets hope the bigger dealers dont get any as they will just discount them out the door and the small guy will get just another bike that costs him money to have on the floor.
