Bent plastic subframe

So, after a rather large crash in a race I've bent the rear subframe a bit, enough to have the exhaust not fit so well. I've bent the exhaust back to carry on racing. anyone managed to straighten a rear subframe yet? doesn't need to be 100%. I was going to just heat it up to soften it and see what happens.

Best solution for me would be if anyone has made a alloy frame replacement for it? I want to strip weight from the bike as much as poss.

Seems to me that the plastic would be lighter than alloy. With all the 70 degree racing subframe tanks out there I'm sure you could pick up a used subframe for a reasonable price.

put it in the freezer overnight like we used to do with the old skyway tuffs in the 80's :D

I have a 2013 fe350 and the subframe is begining to warp under my weight. I am 240 lbs with gear and we do really tecnical climbs somethimes sitting down as feet dont fit in the rut. I guess all that weight bumping on the two plastic spars is just too much. Anyone have the same problem. This is a design fault i think but so far havent heard back from dealer to get warranty for it. The parts arent xepensive but i dont want to have to change them very 6 months

I too would like to see a metal or alloy sub frame to carry additional weight confidently. Anyone heard of them being made by anyone, I would be interested! Thanks
