Hi, anyone have experience with battery inside disruption? allways measure 0 V and infinite resistance. What can cause it? Cheap and expensive battery too.

Is your charging system working properly?

What voltage do you see at idle? How about at operating RPM?

Hi,
your rectifier or your charging coils might be broken. Seems like the battery gets fully discharged and therefore can't be rescued/dies. As Junkie mentioned, measure the voltage between both battery terminals with engine off and engine running / engine running at mid-rpm using a multimeter. There should be a significant increased voltage to be measured between both poles! If not the rectifier possibly doesn't provide any current. Check the rectifier input if it's fed at all!

Thank you, but my problem is mechanical, not electrical. My charging system works good becaouse i have a DC-CDI and it switch off below ~10 V and above ~16 V. Measure 12,5v at idle and 13,5v at 2000 rpm, 14,4v above rpms. I think the engine resonance kill the lead acid battery, and i need a solution for this.

don't use lead acid batterys. go to CTZ7S Gel-Cel battery. they have 130CCA compared to only 65CCA for the original 5 amp lead/acid.

AGM or Lithium is going to be more durable. Try either of those if vibrations are hurting the oem type.

I had something similar with a CanAm Bombardier 2-stroke bike. Appeared to be the resonance of the batteries mechanical parts due to engine vibration. Some mechanical isolation, neoprene foam in our case, solved this.

Thank you! I used this solution with my new batteries. Installed two 1,3Ah Gel-Cell batteries. One for backup. :D
