Hi Barry

If you weere racing you would change the oil after a days racing OK?

if you did two long days of green laning you would change the oil.

road use is very much dependant on the starting. if she is a dreadful starter and you do 300 kicks then just 2-3 days tootling arouind is enough before changing your petro-oil.

if she is a clean starter and the trips a few miles sure, go a week or even two.

but for every reason known to man, you must get it to start quickly or the oil isn't worth FA.

try and use semi as it is better for the starter gears and the clutch. because it is 1/3rd the price you can afford to change the oil more regularly.

as for spares; I've got them. as for touch up paint, I have a pot in front of me on my desk with only about 1/2" left in it.

these bikes need a lot of work to make them start. most UK bikes have had my parts in them by now so perhaps we can have a chat about what you have and what you need to get her starting.

is it a 100% roadbike?

cheers

bazz, try putting in a comma or a full stop. don't let those 11 years go to waste mate? LOL!!!!

well, you only have a litre and these engines until built correctly used to wear out PDQ. since I've been on here we have got that right up now until now they just keep running but the petroil is a problem.

hopefully, as you read this Baz, you stopped for a breath which is more than i phuqin did reading yours!

900cc if no filter. 1L if totally, totally drained - proper like and a filter too.
