WELL i leave for the race thursday morn .then to pick up berger .aka ken waun in phoenix really glad ken has decided to go with me .i have an apoitment with baja designs on friday morn at 8:30. to work out some small lighting details .we will cross the border and be in ensanada friday night ..from there its ON the race starts thursday morning nov 18 at 7:00 the bike is running awsome and is pulling 15- 40 gearing. thanks dale you are the man .. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE GUYS WHO HELPED IN THIS EFFORT WITH DONATIONS .....you know who you are and all your help has ben priceless...the magnitude of this event and the logistics to make it happen is unimaginable to someone who has never ben. so every dollar counts ....I PROMISE TO DO OUR LEVEL BEST FOR THE MARQUE. Unfortunately such is reality and goes with the territory.
I am certain Tommy Black has a broken heart to match his damaged leg.
I am now anxious to learn how the remaining Husaberg effort has faired as 1000 miles of non stop racing is a tall order for an engine that was originally designed to dominate 45 minute heats.
Hope to hear from Bergdaddy and crew soon.

The Rider 10x with the fratured leg, continued riding to the next checkpoint and received medical attention there. Last I heard, they were trying to communicate with his wife to let her know not to fly down to La Paz and he's OK.
