My father had DBS V8,s when I was a boy and I guess the respect for high quality engineering and performance rubbed off.
I started with euro bikes in the late 90's, a 95 ktm 620 was my pride and joy for years until the poster of 1997 husabergs I had on my wall got the better of me (I wish I still had that poster). I ended up with a 2000 fe 600 and was blown away with everything about that bike and wish I never sold it.
I have been riding ktm since then and as good as they are always had a soft spot for the old bergs. I got right into the ktm380's and doing modern chassis conversions, a 380 owner I met also had an 2002 fe 501 not running so we got talking and Bing bang boom now it's in my collection.
I know 2002 was my the best year for bergs so hear I am to get the low down and get this thing running.
