Awesome 2010 FX450 with Rekluse Z-Start Pro

I've been riding dirt bikes for 35+ years. A couple of years ago I bought my first ever Husaberg - a 2010 FX450 that came with a Rekluse Z-Start Pro installed by the previous owner.

I feel compelled to tell you all that this bike is f***ing awesome!! Best dirt/woods bike I've ever ridden. I have more fun on this thing than almost anything else I can think of. Yes, including sex (my rides last a lot longer).

Although its quite a heavy bike, its incredibly nimble at speed and handles like a dream. Power & torque through the entire rev. range is perfect. And the Rekluse is really useful for the tight/steep gnarly stuff. You can forget about clutching and just concentrate on riding. I think I've improved as a rider more in the last 2 years than the entire 33 combined.

I took part in my first competitive race this spring at the Snakebite Enduro in Grand Junction, CO (drove there from NH!). I came first in my class (45+ novice). I don't think I would have come anywhere close on another bike.

I'm now totally a Husaberg 70-degree convert. Just a real shame the brand is pretty much dead.

If anyone has an opportunity to get one, I'd say go for it! Don't dither. You won't ever regret owning one of these, and I think they'll be harder to find in future.
