I will be in Melbourne next week, is Elizabeth Street the best place to do some motorcycles parts/ accessories / apparel shopping?

Yes it is but if you want 'Berg stuff you will have to get out of the city.
Bikes & Bits in Brighton (30 min by train) have a good range cheap.
The Elizabeth St stores arent the cheapest, but probably best range.
