Are the Bergs like KTM?

I am currently thinking about getting an off road KTM (not the street legal EXC) and plating it for the street. In Washington the only way to do this is if you buy them new and get the MSO that dosent state its for "OFF-ROAD".

I am wondering if the Bergs are the same way? Anyone know?

you should not have a problem plating a berg in WA the MSO reads the same as the KTM
but I also heard that some DMV are cracking down on this, east side of the state seems to have no trouble, to complicate things WA state has adopted CA emission, how this
affects dirt bikes only time will tell

mine is plated and i was from kent wa. been a few years though. i know rmc is plating the beta series still with no problems.
