I currently own the 2004 fe 501 berg but am thinking about trading for the 2013 I’m wandering what differences there are between the 2 as I can’t find any info anywhere any info will help thank you

Just about everything will be different besides the color scheme and graphics... For personality and technical reviews of the engine, look up the 2013 KTM 500exc or 2014 Husqvarna FE501. This was the transition year where Husaberg (purchased by KTM) switched from their 70 degree motor design to the standard KTM motor and frame geometry. It's actually more conventional than the years 09-12 in terms of handling and power delivery and considered more "modern" by todays standards.

The 2004 is harder to get parts and information but hands down the 2004 is so much cooler to have.
