i know the board has been suffering in my absence (lol). sorry to let y'all down. it's my first day at work after a memorial day accident (compound fracture of the femur). if you're bored, check out http://www.motosapiens.net/brokenleg.html for the full story, and preop and post op xrays. it sorta starts at the bottom, and more recent information is posted on the top.

i was riding my ktm, which has a squashed exhaust pipe. the other guy totaled his yz250 (frame crumpled at the head tube). my poor husaberg is going to be lonely for a few months.
 
You sure it's broken? I'd get a 2nd opinion...

Wow velo, those are some amazing x-rays and pictures. Glad you weren't hurt any worse than you were cause that looks just plain knarly and painful.

Yes, we've missed you. This may not have happened if you'd have been riding your lazy, slow, barco-lounger fe550. ????

Sidenote: Hope your gf, LK Tresa is coping okay with the sad loss of her friend on the same weekend.

Sheez, thats not a broken leg....quite yer belly aching.... you'll become a real man when you hack off your own leg with a pocket knife like the the 66 y/o man in California did the other day...

for real, I had a broken femur from a football mishap in High school and that made me cry like a baby, your x-ray makes my injury look like a skinned knee.... heal well. condolences to LK

It's always interesting how it happens. You don't see it coming and next thing you know you're on the ground, wondering why this limb is refusing to move and why there is no sensation in it.

sorry to hear about your injury ...

this kind of crash happens real quick and is a major concern , i have had contact with others myself and my number plate got bent . this was almost a head on and it was that close that he hit my rear number plate on the way past .
