Anyone else have the date engraved on the middle section exhaust bracket

Was polishing my exhaust system lastnight on my 07 fe 550 and noticed that on the bracket of the middle section of the exhaust had 28/06 lightly engraved into it.
It made me smile and was just wondering if anyone else has ever came across this

I noticed my case halfs have light hand engraving on them with a matching number on each side... Have to be at the perfect angle to see them. 00' fe501

Im just wondering if it was an employee who just thought he would date things because he could or it was abit of a thing they did. Have fs 05 650 and cant find any dates anywhere on it
