Any electrical engineers out there?
I am worried we might have fried our rectifier.
We have an older 2001 FX650 with the typical 4 prongs. We wired it to the diagram.
2nd prong to ground, 3rd incomming from stator, 4th output to DC circuit
BUT - I didn't realize that ours was upside down compared to the schematic. Which means we were actually 3rd to ground, 2nd feed from AC, 1st prong to DC.
Internally to these units - does it matter where the connections go? Did we bugger it up accidentally?
