Fitted my sparks rewound stator to the old girl last week and after changing the spark lead and spark plug she fired up on about the 3rd kick after sitting for about 8 weeks.
Runs a LOT smoother at low speed now and starting is a breeze hot or cold. Slightly better throttle response off the bottom. Tweaked the carb idle settings and its basically a new bike now!!
