another great weekend

this time we went on a family outing up to a place called " kerlingarfjöll"

stayed in a mountain hut as base camp adn went for ride on local trails on saterday and sunday,

kids were 10-16 , first time for some of them into the mounitains, they got to try riding over streams,

all had a great time

Looks like another great weekend of riding. It also looks like things are starting to cool off a bit.
 
Looks like fun iceberg although it looks like a gray november day around here.What temps were you riding in up there?
 
That place looks beautiful! Looks like it was a bit chilly. did the broken ignition cover end the week end for whom ever was riding that bike?

the weather for the weakend was fine, We had some drizzle on the saturday, temp around 10°C, warm enough to wear only an undershirt, chest protector and enduro jacket,

the weather touched around°C during the night but we had a great sunny day on the saturday, air temp a bit cooler but still warm enough with the abve clothing ( if anything a i was a bit to warm dressed like that)

The XT was unrideable, It fell off the back of the trailer on the way up , the clutch cover smashed to bits,


the only negative thing about the trip is that now it looks like i need 2 more bikes for my kids, My 10 year old definatly need to upgrade the beta minicrosser, he made it all the way with a little push up some of the steeper hills, but it was difficult for him wiht only 14" front wheel, crf 100 maybe next, abd ny 14 year old , as i have mentioned befor now wants to swap the CH125,

anyway it was a great trip
