Another 70 degree fuel tank leak problem.

Hey. Long story short. Two of four fuel pressure regulator plastic threads are stripped. Any ideas how to fix this?

Maybe replacing the treads with nut type inserts like this one?

Some threads go straight through the tank. The idea is there. I have used similar. Best to use a ‘blind’ like these. Glue them in using like a suitable locktite. Use a thread antiseize on the bolt/screw as you don’t want the bolt/screw turning out the insert.

Alright, case closed. I fixed it with rivet nuts.

Sorry, I forgot to take pictures before I closed it up. I wasn't sure if this method will work, but it did. Had to put M6 rivet nuts in, because M5 would strip the tank plastic. I think it is the best solution so far.
