Hello All,
Newbie to this forum and totally ignorant about Husabergs. Looks as though you have a very nice community here.

I am looking for a cost effective entry into the SM scene. I have found a 1994 501c (?) locally, seems a reasonable price, that might work.

I have searched the site for about an hour with no luck on whether this machine can be fitted with street legal lighting, etc.

Have seen a few comments about interchangeability of KTM parts, but that seems to be for later model years.

Also would much appreciate any comment as to maintenance, reliability, parts availability and any direction on where I might find specs etc. and any other info for that model.

Thanks in advance.

with a 94 501, it could very easily turn into the s&m scene  . depends on how many unmaintained hours logged. however, it sounds like something i'd do. (thinking back to the time i converted my bsa victor to dirt)

just asking for trouble i'm afraid!  :( :(

this bike has already been thrashed. it deserves a nice rest now. it could get very frustrating and expensive. if you have to spend good moiney on it and get it out in time you will not find the bits laying around. dan may hold a lot of stuff but it's really, really risky!

regards

Kind of what I thought, and the thing was sold before I could act anyway. Probably my luck.

Thanks for the info, I will look for a newer machine.
