Depends on what you want to spend. Within the 60.00 usd price, I would only look at cyclops action sports LED light bulbs. They have an 18 month warranty and are the brightest drop in. I run one in my 300xc and plan to put one in my 'berg when the current bulb either gets smashed or takes a ****.

I bought a cheap headlight off eBay. A universal aftermarket which looks almost identical to the later ktm original part. Uses the 35 watt bulb. You can pick them up from uk sellers from around £30 complete (mask, lamp holder, bulb, straps and wiring harness).
I had to carefully cut the lower edge where it attaches to the front mudguard, to make it fit flush. Fits straight on the plastic pins on the mudguard.
I you ride on unforgiving ground like a stone quarry, it can make a cheap fix to a broken headlight.

New (additional) headlight

i went a totally different route. I mounted an Auxbeam 18 watt (flood pattern, not small beam) to my FE390. I mounted it to the front fender via the factory hole where the fender is bolted to the "V" shaped plastic bracket. It is at least 10 times brighter than the factory light and much wider. Not street legal, of course. I wired it to the low beam circuit and it works incredibly well. I am brand new to this forum (and new to a Husaberg - a 2011 FE390). if I can figure out how to post a photo I will do so. I already had 36 watt Auxbeam floods on my ATVs and was so happy with them that I decided to try the smaller one on my Berg. VERY pleased, but looks like 1930s siren on a police bike! Might later fit it to the factory light mount. - HusaGeezer
