ordered the inner upper rear splashguard last week. that is in 2014 for a 2008 bike....

00060000022

and no longer orderable!

so 6-year-old bike and KTM stop making some spares?

I was quite surprised by this actually.

There's one for sale in Croatia, with a lower splash guard and bolts in comp.
Let me know if you want it.

thats a full kit upper/lower guards with mounting gear

upper splash guard alone is 80006011000 i just got one

I don't care that you just got one, the KTM computer is showing it as;

"article no longer orderable"

Taffy, who's website can you punch in part numbers and confirm availability rather than ringing a dealer.

TIA

I also looked on a OEM parts site and if you wanted to order stock piston there was no longer a price listed for 2008 650 "call us" instead of the price...

That is pretty slack. Not exactly convenient for you, but there is a decent cache of old stock 04-08 Berg parts here in NZ, I can enquire or pass on the dealer contacts if you are interested in what they have?

I wonder if the reason there are still parts left in nz is due to the exorbatant prices they were trying to rip us off with!
It was a lot cheaper to import my parts from the other side of the world than buy them here.......
Times have changed since then but not much.

thanks but the customer wrote back that he's not too fussed. remember that this is only one part...

it's about KTM stock not what others hold.

Taffy, I have been using ktm-parts.com for a while now. They even provide you with the superseded numbers along with availability.

I have also been lucky with Dan at MotoExotica, there are more parts on his shelf than Berg's in California.
