The French WEC team Husaberg that was left in the US had a custom alloy tank, from what the guy who was trying to sell it on the Phoenix Craig's list told me.

Taffy...

I'f it is the narrower feel you are after I can, hopefully, make you glad.
I spoke to David Larsson this last weekend after an enduro practice we both attended. He said the smaller tank that is to be on sale as a force part is coming next February. It has been decided that it is going to be made out of the same yellow plastic as the stock tank. It will be somewhere between the alu one and the current in width.

RE: Re: RE: Contact

thanks cypher

it's curreently at E350 which is as cypher says £240 or $450US. that is the cost brand new of a 6.2 litre and only £25 quid short of the cost for a new 7.2 litre. $700? i don't think so. bout time some of you found a way of getting through problems.

i know loads of people who travel the atlantic. i know lote of people who have sent a parcel to the states, or to the Uk marked repair....

where there's a will there's a way.

i also think that the new plastic tanks from the factory won't be a lot cheaper but they will take a bang, you will be able to see through them and they will fit!

i saw in a fleeting click something about a smaller tank. and a bigger tank! both are hopelessly late and they all want shooting for getting it that badly wrong.

i expect that the value of a used alloy unit is now set to fall. the one thing you won't change though, alloy tanks are rare and they do make the bike look purposful.

so if you have an alloy tank, i suggest now is the time to get rid of them - while they're still worth something!

Taffy (i did warn you) Lloyd

For those looking for a big tank, I have been told that Clarke definitely has one coming out in Jan or Feb at the latest.

I want a 7 or 8L tank in factory yellow.
