RE: Re: RE: Contact
thanks cypher
it's curreently at E350 which is as cypher says £240 or $450US. that is the cost brand new of a 6.2 litre and only £25 quid short of the cost for a new 7.2 litre. $700? i don't think so. bout time some of you found a way of getting through problems.
i know loads of people who travel the atlantic. i know lote of people who have sent a parcel to the states, or to the Uk marked repair....
where there's a will there's a way.
i also think that the new plastic tanks from the factory won't be a lot cheaper but they will take a bang, you will be able to see through them and they will fit!
i saw in a fleeting click something about a smaller tank. and a bigger tank! both are hopelessly late and they all want shooting for getting it that badly wrong.
i expect that the value of a used alloy unit is now set to fall. the one thing you won't change though, alloy tanks are rare and they do make the bike look purposful.
so if you have an alloy tank, i suggest now is the time to get rid of them - while they're still worth something!
