So I just dropped the oil on my 08 fe650 and noticed a fair amount of alloy in the filters, it's sitting on around 270hours without the engine ever been opened so I'm instantly thinking the cam chains starting to slap around? I'm running a scotts stainless filter and I cleaned it and the tampon filter out as best I can in some kero and as you can see in the photo it's pretty sparkly.
Any idea how long I've got left before major damage?
