We all know what a great bike these new Bergs are,now we know they can win national enduros with the right people. Now we can look forward to a national title!
I was at the start and the gas stop at the Alligator. Clay was pretty upset when he hit the gas stop. His bottom shock bolt was missing and the top one was loose. The bottom shock clevis had punched through the mud flap and was jammed. He had a heck of a time getting it free and wasn't happy.
Mike Lafferty was very happy with the 450 and the last time through the gas stop, he was high fiving and hugging everyone. He said it will be the 450 the rest of the season for him.
There were all kinds of Bergs racing that day and everyone looked very messy with black mud coming into the gas. Word in the pits was Mullins burned his clutch up in the very first section. David Knight got severely stuck and then burned up something in his bike trying to get out. Most of the top ten riders got stuck somewhere on the course and lost time.
