G'day to all the gurus out there, hoping that someone has an idea what I'm facing.
Ride is a 2012 fe 390
Had a great ride Sunday out in the bush and after a good 4-5 hours started the last loop of the day and about 100 m into the loop lost all power. Engine started to choke up or starve but it would idle with now issue.
Got the bike back to site and still under throttle it would die. After about a half hour of head in hands loaded up and just out of curiosity started again and it fired up and revved purrfectly...!
I'm lost for words other than possible fuel filters.

Any ideas please people's

Inline fuel filter has catched **** and when it's warm the filter swells restricting the flow even more. When the bike cooled down the filter opened up again. Change it to a new grey one or a mini golan. Or just chuck it in the bin.

When you have the injector out you might as well blow it clean with compressed air. Open it with a 9V battery and blow air against normal flow. That is a simple procedure that helps keeping the injector clean.

Well might have stumbled onto the problem without knowing it. Was about to load the bike tonight and it died...?!?... thought to myself, check the battery as you do... found the negative terminal totally loose... tightened and all good again.
So my thoughts the initial problem was the pump as there was poor connection to the battery effecting the pump..?!?
