G'day Ozzies - Brisbane Club
I am with the Northern Districts Motorcycle Club in Brisbane. We are an MA affiliated club but our members are generaly not MA competitors. We have two Bergs in the club my 400 and Waz's 650. We orgnaise a formal club ride once a month and of course take part in many other rides whether Dalby Moto's or our own one day rides at Mt Mee, Belthorpe on in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland (often two days). We meet once a month in Lawton near Strathpine in Brisbanes north, on the first Tuesday of the month. If anyone is interested feel free to post a reply and I will fill you in with the details

still got you down as comin next year for the force ride..
dont forget to check the calender for the 5-6th May this year as a few of the guys are coming down to Louee to do some recon before the official event in '08.
Did you do the Monduran Dam run last weekend that Dalby Moto organised ? I missed it cause I didn't find out til late :? Missus got to go fishing though :roll: not sure how that worked !
Ozrider is in Gympie & we are going to Louee in May. Let me know if you're interested & tell anybody who might be.

I'm planning on being at the Louee on th 4,5,6 May 2007. Look forward to seeing fellow berg riders on some trails. I'm the only berg rider amongst the group of riders I normally ride with. There is a group of 6 coming from Geelong, VIC.

Another Ozstralian here. Living in Gippsland Vic, rideing the young fellas TTR 250, at the moment,poor little thing takes more hits then Elvis with my 110kg arse in the saddle. Just unloaded the KTM 520, and when I can convince the minister for finances, the wife, that I must have a 07 650 Berger {could even an 08 model, if the boss holds out longer than I anticipate} life will be a blur, spend some time on a good friends 05 550, and she would eat the 520 for lunch particularly in the mid to upper rev range, when the trail opened up and the brain disengaged from commonsense, and you banged her through the 6 speed, holding the throttle wide open, **** starts to pass bye pretty #$%@ fast, and with the extra 100cc the big 650 must be a dead set missile………cant wait, the 520 sent me to the emergency room a few times wonder where the big Berga will send me…. Harrrr Harrr……………..Vaughan

Hello Fellow Aussies, I am live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney NSW. I have only purchased my 2005 FE 550 a few weeks ago after trading up from my 2002 KTM 400 EXC. I mostly ride up at a place on the Central Coast called the Watagan mountain range and also around the Blue Mountains and Lithgow areas.
I may possibly be able to get up to Louee for the 5/6 of May 2007 and will definitley be up for the ride in 2008!

HI ,FUR BERGER know all about the rides ,AMSAR do a great job but when you show a member some great tracks and 12 months later 70 riders hit the area in one hit(area relatively unknown for years)it sort of leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Another new member - based near Kenilworth (Sunshine Coast - Qld). Riding an '04 FE650.
It has been great to find this site - it has really helped with preparing my bike for the Finke Desert Race which is now only just over a week away!!!!
It would be awesome to catch up with some more Berg fans, there are not many in the hills around here - it's either blue or a pumpkin.
I would love to hook up for a ride with those who are not too far away. I have some great access to forestry and have plenty of paddock space for those who want to set up camp. Great riding less than 2 hrs from Brissy for those that are interested.

What ae you on about man..... No hills??? We ride the Imbil through to Widgee area , you know,bout 20 mins up the road from you. The area has some of the best hills around. If you are interested, pm me and we wll hook up for a ride.
