akroprovic factory slip on- tuning?

I have a 2010 FX450 and am looking at purchasing an akro factory slip on like the one listen on the husaberg site as an upgraqde. Now, I've only had carburated bikes in the past and always had to re-jet the carb to ensure the bike would run at its best after a pipe change. Is this something that applies to the FI bikes too? How exactly is this done? The bike runs perfect right now tiht he stock silencer, but a little more snarl to the exhaust note and some better performance is tempting. I just want to make sure I can tune it to run this good with the akro.... cheers

Wow, cool. Could you or someone explain how this is? I'm in no way doubting your answer, I'm just curious why a carbureted engine would need tuning but an efi would not. It would seem that anytime the air flow in or out changed it would need to be tweaked at least a bit to be perfect, but does the efi setup sense it and automatically compensate or something? Thanks for the info!

Mate I am not entirely sure, I whacked a big bore kit on mine and sent it for tuning and apparently things were no changed radically, the are some great technical threads here on the subject but as far as I know no one has been successful in cracking the language inside the ecu. So i would throw that pipe on, fire that bad boy up and enjoy. 8)
