Cleaned it thoroughly, put the TIG on approx. 25 amps and had rootgas flowing so that the inside got shielded too.
The weld procedure was quite standard, I went over it fast so that it didnt get too hot and then had aftergas for like 5 seconds.
Seems like it is staying welded so far atleast!
Edit: I actually put some more metal in there yesterday to make it a bit more stable, the original weld is VERY badly done.
