Akrapovic Spare Parts

Hi,

Just had a quick question, Does anyone know where I can get spare parts for my Akrapovic muffler? It's the carbon end cap one.

I've emailed my local dealerships and had no reply, so wondering if there was anything online?

I need a new carbon end cap, and both carbon mounting brackets.

Try another dealer, looks like they should not be in the business or just try and call them and see what happens.

I got spare titanium end cap, packing material and all rivets and stainless bands for my Akra from the same dealer where I bought the bike. Took about one week to get parts from Akra to them.

Yeah I might have to give them a call, or look elsewhere.

I was hoping there would be more parts online, I know Midwest racing in the UK have the parts. Trying to find somewhere a bit more local.

Were the parts expensive?

Any Husaberg dealer can get them. The part number is probably SXS07250514, retail is $129.99.

Finally got an email back from a local dealer...

Carbon Silencer Cap (comes with the decal on it) $ 298.99
Retaining Clamp Front $ 171.50
Retaining Clamp Rear $ 171.50

Was a bit shocked but all up that's almost $650, considering you can buy a whole muffler for $750 that's a joke.

Midwest racing has given me a much better price!

There is an outfit in Australia that makes much nicer stainless clamps since the carbon ones always break.

Expensive but probably not more so than what you paid.

You can make those for all of $10. ;-)

I like Akra stuff, but wow is that crazy money.

Barely used mufflers with straps have a hard time selling for more than $450 on fleabay.
