Akrapovic Source?

Is there really no source to get a good price on Akrapovic? I am usually pretty good at being able to find a good deal on anything I need/want online. But they really do seem to have their products locked up pretty good. Just looking for a slip-on for my 2010 FE450. Yes, I know there is FMF. Just really hoping to get the Akra. Thanks for any leads.

Your right they do have it locked up good. Ebay has them for $750 which is what I did. I didnt see them any cheaper than that delivered. Mine was advertised for a KTM but there the same thing. Its bloody loud now but I love it.

Loud?
Mine is not much louder then stock at low rpms, only at higher rpms does it starts to growl.
Tested at 92-94 dbs.
There is an import tariff on titanium into the US, because the Akra's are cheaper in Europe.

As far as "Loud" goes, I would say that Madkeenrooter probably has the Akrapovic Evolution with the carbon fiber end cap? I am just looking for the standard slip on that is probably what you have jkl? Are they only available at the dealerships in Europe also? I have a friend in Austria that owes me a favor. Maybe he could purchase one and send it to me? Probably more hassle than it is worth?

Mine is the 09 slip on without the carbon fiber end cap.
There is some confusion in the Husaberg catalog about the compatibility of the non carbon fiber with the Akra header.
The mid pipe stays the same , so I don't know why it would not work. Maybe a typo in the old catalog?

This is correct and it way louder then the stock silencer. Its heaps lighter as well.
