Modified cylinderhead, 44mm throttle body, completely full exhaust with power bomb and akra race silencer, no cylinder gasket, modified piston, 450map (10500rpm) remapped for 570. No problem with the bike so far, raced whole supermoto season.

how often do you pull the head off it ??

have you had any headgasket leakage into the water system and pressurising it ?

what head gasket do you use stock or different ? solid copper ??

still 565cc ?? have you tried a 610cc kit ??

I have only done that once after final tuning, only to change valve springs.
Yes and we now use glued head gasket and working so far.
Using stock head gasket.
Yes still 565cc, other guys tested 590 but didn't gain anything on that.

that must be a race weapon!!

What was yoyur start HP ??

and you gained 13 hp??

greets madero

We started out at 50hp stock and now have 63 rwhp.
Yes 13hp gain so far.. hoping for more soon with new camshaft and bigger throttle body.

After re reading this thread I realized that it is no wonder your bike is running lean.

Looks as though you have dramatically increased compression through the elimination of the base gasket, "modified piston" (high compression?), modified the head (what did you do there? Increase compression? unshroud the valves?) increased throttle body size, and a better flowing exhaust system, and raised the rev ceiling to 10,500. It only stands to reason that you would need more fuel.

And speaking of fuel, what fuel are you running?

What do you think the compression ratio is?

Hey..
I don't have any problem with my bike its mapped correctly :) You must have misunderstand something because its "Slider" that have a problem with the mapping.

Cheers

Thanks for sharing the info.

About $250. :)
Number one is "an entry level tuning component". Number 2 is "for riders looking for the finest available aftermarket exhaust system". This is the one with the carbon fiber end. I believe they weigh about the same. I have not seen any figures on power increases on either. From what I can tell on the demos I have had, the Akros don't offer much power gain but do offer a substantial weight savings. Please remember I am mainly riding in the woods in the eastern US and not in fast conditions or on the street. I think the Akro would most likely increase the bikes power in the upper rev ranges....but I could be wrong.

Thats wright that the horsepower doesn't matters but what about the bad air-fuel combination thats what matters me?

I don't think its to much air because if you for example do good mod to the spoilers you can gain around 2hp more so the bike don't get enough air. So your answer must be less fuel then. If so you should start to add around 2-3% at full throttle opening 8000rpm.

Hi,

Wich mod's did you on the spoilers??

at the top end of the seat, between tank and seat it is possible to open the airbox that the air will flow direct to the filter. but at very dusty tracks you have to clean the filter very often. offroad i still use the stock spoilers.

open spoiler

remove the seat, make a line with a felt tip along the tank and cut away the edge.

hope you will understand my bad english.
