I've been using either HiFlo or Twin Air filters. Does anyone use other brands? and are they pre-oiled?

DT1, I prefer to oil them myself. DT1 filters are made in the us and are generally less expensive than twinair. During xmas time, dt1 will have a special running and I can pick up three filters for something like 35 bucks. Did it with my 300xc and my fe 450.

I like DNA filters high price. I've read some people don't like them. But you use the right oil I think there great. And the big plus is if you plan on keeping the bike for a long time definitely the one have.... I have a K&N on My 1987 510 Husqvarna going on 28 years and like new. Couldn't get a K&N for Husaberg's so DNA work fine. Foam will turn to sand in 10 to 15 years. So if your not going to keep a bike that long You'll be fine. And good luck finding a foam filter for 20 plus old bike. Perching Over....... Forgot I have 09 to 2011 foam filters 8 of them used to new if you pay shipping and $5.00 I'll send you guys 1 or 2 each.

I have a lot of vintage bikes. Fortunately I can still get filters for my OSSAs and Suzuki PEs.
