Okay people,

I know a lot of us feel very fortunate to have this site available to us. and some of us would like to donate to help keep it alive but can't justify it for some reason or another. Myself included! I have donated in other ways besides the the little money ticker on the right hand side of the page. but some of us are just looking for another reason!

Well I have your reason!

I have in my possession about 18 BRAND NEW 1st quality HYDRAPAK
2 liter (2000 ml) bladders for camel back type drink systems complete with tubes and leak proof spigots

I had 20 but I kept two for myself :wink:




Starting July 1st, the first 18 people who donate $40.00 or more to the UHE will get one of these bladders (you have to be a non-advertised sponsor okay). Json will let me know who has donated and I will pm you for your address.

sorry valued members who are outside the lower 48, I can't justify the shipping charges. wish i could but... you understand...

These bladders go for about $20 bucks in the store. you are getting a great bargin! the bladders plus unlimited use of this site!

y'all I did this without the permission of json, and after talking to my wife she thinks that i may be requesting to much of a donation. so I pose the question;

What should the donation be to qualify? Personally I thought $40 was a good number... what about $30 minimum... I don't really care but i hate to see these things go to waste. I would gladly spend the money for shipping charges if we could get $40/per for the site but at $20-25....people are doing that much anyway.

running a site like this, takes A LOT of time, and resources.

The question was asked "where did i get these?"

at work, our order selectors use the packs to carry small recievers in that communicate verbally with a computerized order system. we buy the packs in bulk and keep the bladders. we usually donate the bladders to local search and rescue organizations. but I asked for the last batch to see if I could help the site. If not I will be donating them to our boy scout troop.

sounds like i have two takers.... so that means i have 16 left....

hey! if others think of ways to support our community we could off-set some costs for north america force rides! I am sure that a bit of this money could be used to ensure we all get to try some of bobzilla's chili!
