I was given the afternoon off today. Temps were around 50, no wind(very rare here in SD). My daughter and I used this time off to get on the bikes. There are some fields surrounding the housing area we live in, it's used to dump dirt from near by construction. The Husaberg ran great!! I think she wanted out of the garage as bad as I wanted out of the house. The sound of the motor, the impeccable handing, torque for days, I love it more and more each time I ride it.
My daughter is taking to riding like a duck to water. I got her a Kaw 110 for X-Mas(Husaberg needs mini). I highly reccomend this bike to some one with a child just learning. If the weather holds we'll go to a near by riding area. It has a couple small(1/8th mile) tracks, one is a nice TT style track with one small jump, a wide flat corner, a small set of short woops and a tight bermed turn, just the thing for a newby to lean on.
All in all it's been a great afternoon and a fun wrap up to the holiday season. I hope everyone elses holidays have been as good(the beer brewing kit I got makes me smile). Now I need to start saving for a 2010 FE 450 E for my future Berg rider.
