aftermarket exhaust for fx650/ fc

i have an 2002 fx650 converted to a supermoto but im having difficulty finding an aftermarket race exhaust to fit it due to the different mountigs than that of a fe or fs does anybody know if there ever was one available or if im out of luck

Hi, I don't think the exhausts differ across the FX FS FE range. I have a 2003 FX and bought a full Doma system which was taken from a FS and it fits fine.

hi thanks for the reply, my fx has an exhaust thats about a meter long, and has a mount in front of the side panel on the subframe that is not there on an fs or an fe if you google images for a 2002 fx650 you will be able to see the extra mount, doe syours have that mount?

I see what you mean from the google picture, no mine doesn't have that exhaust mount. Wouldn't be too difficult to adapt a FS exhaust to fit by welding a new lug on the frame behind the side panel if that is the only difference.

yes thats what i was thinking, but if i have to do that il wait till im gonna get the frame powder coated then do it before that. having done a bit more checking it would appear that only 2002 or maybe 2001 bikes had that type of exhaust, i see yours is an 03 so thats why its not like it. i still love it its definetly a keeper
