Anyone else planning running Adelanto GP February 24 & 25?

I've never run the event before. The guys I work with have done it for the last few years. They say its a 12 mile loop, as many laps you can complete/start in 45 minutes. The vet expert of the group finished 18th in open ex with 4 laps. There is an open motocross track section followed by a huge water jump to flat landing section, which you can go around through some huge whoops all in front of some grand stands for maximum carnage exposure, followed by a wide open paved/desert section. If you do the math >= 60 MPH avg.

Boys, Boys, Boys, The Adelanto GP is one of the largest offroad events in the world. The Pro / Expert pay out is outstanding and lures many of the LA area MX guys out. This event is put on by the Desert Vipers one of the oldest and most politically active D37 clubs. They are a great group of guys and put on an outstanding event, the "Mud Pit" has to be seen I have seen Larry Roeseler clear it on a 1978 KX during the vintage race nothing short of amazing. Why do I know this??? I raced B to V with the Vipers multiple times during the 80's when I lived in Phoenix .Although my dad lives up here now he is still a member of the club. I'm going to try to make it down but I'm not sure as it is very close to the Moab Force ride. If you do make it try to find Steve Hollister he lives in Grand Juction, CO now but is a former Class 40 baja and overall SCORE winner(also a long time Viper) he can't ride now due to loss of eye site but is truely one of the great gentlemen of our sport and one of my personal heros to pre run baja with him was a treat he was really Mr. Smooth. I think he even talked to Colby a little trying to help out. Sorry to ramble but GO you won't regret it
