Have always thought that one of the things that make these older bikes unique is how light they are. I believe the literature said they are all around 112 kg. or so, or approx. 250 lbs.
I just weighed my modified street legal '05 FS650c and it totals 288 lbs. I'm getting ready to install a Shorai battery so have taken off the seat, tank and rear shock. Even with all that stuff off, the remainder still weighs 253 lbs. The rear shock is 13 lbs. and the half full tank weighs 12 lbs. There is no way to get down to 250 lbs. even if you remove all fluids, etc. and still have an operable bike.
But they still must be significantly lighter than the 690 KTM SM's or else I wouldn't be able to out-run them.
