Hello guys!

I am about to buy a 02 FC550.

Any things i have to check specialy ?

I do got a Fe 650 01. Any big difference in the engine? Reliability?

Are there any light coil on that model?

The bike has only 30 hrs on the counter, and looks wery nice..

Need advises..

Lucky!!

Lucky,
I believe all Bergs have lighting coils. I know the 550 does for sure.
I would check for updated rockers, timing chain and sprocket wear.
Check all the chassis bearings.
If it looks good, sounds good, runs good it must be good
I am sure others can add more advise.

I am going to moustly use this bike on the local mx track, but some time in the forrest as well..

Does the FC 550 have a to violent power delivery to be used in enduro tracks...

Are there any simple ways to make the engine more smooth for enduro?

I used to take my FE 650 for enduro, hope the FC can be a little bit more easy to handle in narrow tracks.

Regards

Lucky

I use my FC550 for trails and enduro type riding. I have the Rev-Lok in it and it seems to have removed the violent hit it had. I think it was the addition of the extra 6 oz. on the clutch that smoothed it out. I know Steathy makes weigted flyweels for Husabergs. I have been told they work well reducing the hit and low speed stalling.

About flyweels, is it the same flyweel inside the 650 and the 550 ?

Does "Steathy" got a web page..

I am living in Norway, and in my district the Husaberg got bad reputaion.. All my friends rides Hondas , yamahas and KTM's..

The strange is that my 650 always starts, and always has taken me all the way back home after our trips in the forrest.
