As a returning previous Husaberg owner (my previous bike was a 2001 FX600) and a current 2012 TE250 owner, I'd like to see a new subject heading for topics regarding (Husaberg) two stroke motorcycle discussion. I realize this site was founded by 4 Stroke Force lovers and like the information, people, and general lack of crap on this forum as compared with some of the others out there. It would be nice to find a place in the index specific to the new 2 stroke bikes.

As it is now, it is difficult to find a lot of threads pertaining to our pingers and it would be nice to be a regular part of this site and might even expand the declining membership.

What do you all think? Can we make this happen? With less differentiation from KTM, I think it would be best for this site to cater to all blue and yellow lovers. The sum of all parts makes this a better bike than the orange bikes, at least for me. I almost feel Husaberg is the performance tuner for KTM like AMG is for Mercedes.

I would support your request, as I'm also interested in the twosmokers of Husa.

Espescially the question, how many liters of fuel could Dale put into those new subframes?

Dale? :bounce:

After reading your post i thought yeah, there should be a seperate section.

But then i thought why segregate? Might aswell just post stuff in the usual sections, all Husabergs together!!

Hi all

i already posted about this subject, and you are absolutly right, the 2stroke should be very welcome, and people should not be encouraged to go to ktm talk. Thinking like that, after this year only owners of old bikes (like me) will stay here

The only problem is that I think that there isn't very much know how about 2strokes, at least not as much as 4strokes. The other option is that the ones that have that knowlege are very shy :D :D
SO COME FORWARD 2STROKE GUYS !!

Not true, there are many things to know of how to turn this TE into a great adventure bike: how to mount a low compression head in order to double the fuel range and create more an FE like behaviour?

Instead of the webbed subframe, how could we replace it with something that could contain liquids e.g. fuel?

I think that the biggest problem is that Husaberg hasn't had any smokers before and therefore the knowledge in general about them will be low amongst the memebers. With that said I'm sure there is a vast knowledge out there, not sure how up to date it is though. :)
