Hi Andrea

You can send your stator for rewind, it will be very good.

A long time ago other member from Greece, OYK, that knows a lot more than me of electronics, used one solution that it's a good solution for a supermoto use.
He called it the transformer mode, witch is basically using one transformer to supply current to the CDI, instead of the stator.

On the SEM you can consider 2 parts of the stator, one that will charge the battery (that never brakes) and other that will give power to the CDI/coil and gives the timing for the spark.
The thing that usually gives problems are the coils that charges the CDI (red wire) and the rest of the stator is still good.

Basically what he did was to use the 12VDC from battery and transform it to around 220 VDC to charge the coil.

If you want I can send you the scheme.

Great!
If you can send me the scheme I can try the same solution.

I'm also thinking to repair homemade the stator (I have twice at home, both damaged), tomorrow I try to liquefy the black resin

Hi

I'm a DIY guy but I don't think that the effort and the materials needed to try to do a rewind is worth it ... but good luck to you !

Send me your mail and I will send you everything that I have about the transformer mod.

Cheers
