A different project

Hello all, if all goes to plan I am soon to take on a slightly unusual project for me. I have been asked by a good old friend of mine to restore his late fathers 1997 FE 400e, one of two Husabergs he bought new in the UK back in 97. At the moment I know very little about the bike or even Husaberg generally so hope to get some good advise here. As the project moves on I hope to post lots of pictures etc and any info I get on overcoming any problems I come across. If this bike works out well I may be asked to do the other bike his father had which is now in his brothers possession in France, I believe it's a 500 cc mx version but not sure of the model or year yet. I have already spoken to a really helpful member and look forward to getting started. Thanks in advance everyone.

Hi
Good luck
There great bikes and well worth the effort
You should not have much problem restoring them , seams to me the plastics may be hard to find but apart from that you should be ok
