a big thankyou to DCR and SS RACING

this is just a big thankyou to everybody that helped me get my bike home finally.
Alex and Dave at DCR for the parts and information you gave and also for trying to take the parts to anglesey for me (trying because the idiot that was fixing my bike wouldn,t spare 20 mins on a sunday night to pick them up even though dave was traveling down from preston).

The biggest thankyou has to go to melvin and the boys at S & S RACING in shrewsbury
who picked the bike up in anglesey when the afore mentioned idiot eventually admitted after 4 months he could not fix it, and then in a matter of days had it fixed and ready to go but not only that they went out of their way to load it on an artic at night buy hand
and everything else they did for me.

So here we go THANK YOU ONE AND ALL FROM A VERY HAPPY BOY IN IRELAND

it certainly is but i just read about the franchises being lost by some of the shops it will be a sad loss and my support will be going out to all of them buying from them and not direct

DCR in particular has got massive stocks to keep bergs running so i would suggest its likely to be easier to get a part for the pre 09 bergs from him or one of the other former dealers than from any new dealers that are appointed.

DCR and SS racing have both been given the chop. thats fact as i've spoken with both.

gary grover also i've been told.

though 1 in ireland and mid-west racing are staying.

i can't believe that they have given DCR the chop they ride and race them what the f**k are ktm playing at

not wanting to duplicate the other thread but think the therm "cleaning house" covers it.

see my last entry on the other thread

Many thanks for the comments and support above.

It is true that we SS Racing as of 1st Jan 08 will no longer be official Husaberg dealers but we will not be giving up, we have large stocks of new and used parts so we will carry on. We have been riding, racing, crashing and putting Husaberg bikes back together since 1996 so our passion for the brand will not dissapear into orange mist!!!

So business as usual for us and im sure that goes for DCR and GGR

Many thanks

Just want to express my thanks to you guys over the past couple of years for the service and contribution you given to both the Supermoto series and spare parts for my ever incresingly blowing up bikes.Cheers

Yeh the same go's for me allways had great service from dcr bikes and parts .
We all knew that the berg was allways going to be the red headed stepson in the orange family tree ,but dropping dealers like they have just shows bottom line ktm don't give a flying f##k to the berg history .
i think some of on us :moon: here should be putting pen to paper to these orange bean counting tools i for one will .
I for one would happy to stay berg but after this i wont be loking to get the 09
regards steve

Here Here Grunts,

I`ve had about 5 or 6 Husaberg`s off D.C.R. and every one a cracking deal, Top bloke is Dave, always has time to speak.

Went back to KTM cause i thought the Berg`s where looking a bit dated, then sure enough out pop`s the 09 model which looks sweet! I was on the phone to Clarkey straight away to place me order only to find out this! set of C***S.

Life's funny at times, not funny ha ha, but funny. As clever as the whole marketing team at KTM might be, this whole situation may turn full circle within 6 - 12 months when they realise it may have been more cost effective to keep the berg dealers they had & give them the orange to sell also. My local KTM dealer $hit himself when I asked if they could rebuild my berg. They are just not interested whether it be because of Husaberg's poor reputation or not. I'd say to the fellows that have been replaced, hang in there for as long as you can as it might prove worthwhile. Husaberg riders are a funny ( not ha ha ) bunch that stick to what they know & works.

Just me 2 cents worth.

Dear fellow husaberg riders i dont usually make my views known,to be honest i only ask questions when i have a problem , the questions are always answered a big thanks to TAFFY , LE FROG AND SPARKS.
Nothing reaiy upsets me but when there are issues of dealers who have sold bikes and for there loyal services have been kicked in the teeth by the higher powers this is not right.
I have peronally had all my parts from DCR and found dave and alex the most helpful having been on many supermoto training days with dave and Andy and met some great frends ,Andy has now left to race hondas and good luck to him.
Ijust hope that DCR and all the other dealers continue to trade.BIG THANKS.

I don't know if this the job casualty through this turmoil, but Alex at DCR's did his last day there today.
Good luck Alex with your future ventures.

Regards

Sparks.

Alexs has left DCR! oh dear.
as you say hopefully he's got something else lined up.

sorry to hear that. i think alex was the perfect antidote to dave but what do i know?.....

regards

Taffy

thats right '' kicked in the teeth '' for loyal service , this sort of thing is the lowest form of scum .

it makes me really want to support the dealer , but have absolutely nothing to do with the supplier .
