99 model extra fuel

hey guys has any one ever seen any after market auxiliary fuel tank or has any one made a home made one i want some more range with my 99 fe 600 i was thinking i could move all the relays behind the headlight and make something up in there under the seat maybe get another 2L or so any ideas fellas .....?

Husaberg offered an auxiliary fuel tank for pre 01 bikes that fits where the side number plate goes. In fact I purchased one off E-Bay for my 97 Fx600 and haven't even unboxed it yet . Eric's in Pasadena, Ca.I think makes an under the seat auxiliary tank for pre 01 bikes. Acerbis used to make auxiliary fuel tanks that fit on the front forks where the number plate goes.They had a .8 gallon and a 1.2 gallon version. The .8 I had on my sons YZ85 just cracked and the 1.2 sitting on the shelf will replace it. Hopefully some other members can point you directly to a tank.

Husaberg offers a replacement fuel tank that is 19 litres (5gal)
Art.No. 390036-01 (this is for 1989-1999 Bergs)

Side panel fuel tank is 5.5 litres (1.5gal)
Art.No. 390042-01 (for 1999 and earlier Bergs)

Auxiliary fuel Tank (Under seat) is 2.8 litres (.75gal)
Art.No. 160187-01 (All models, except FR600E, 2000 & post 2000 bikes)
