Has any one done any modifications to the fe600 electric start, front forks. The springs seem way soft, yet do not use more than 8 inches of travel. A couple of riders with the same bikes have the same problem. Soft springs they seem, need pre-loading yet not all travel used. No more than 9 inches of travel ever used.

If someone has fixed the front, then what did you do at the back shock.

What fork static sag do you run, and what sag for shock when sitting on it. Does any one know the fork static sag when the bikes are new?

Motor on the fe 600 e is great, need to get than full travel on the front though.

The Husabergs have an extreme amount of shock travel compared to that of the forks. I'm pretty sure the shock has 370mm and the forks 280mm on your particular model. This naturally pitches the riders weight onto his/her (note... PC) hands making the forks feel harsher than they actually are. I usually fit a 7mm spacer to reduce the effective length of the shock on your bike and restore the balance. After this is done I g/tee your forks will feel and perform much better. You may still wish to address the fork performance but you will at least have a much better perspective.

do with that what you will

yes, I see what you mean, it is 320 in rear and 280 in front. I find with the dampening clicker three out from stiffest it works best, so I am thinking going heavier springs and reducing the shim stack on the fast speed compression. This will allow the breaking and woop hits to be the same but the sharp rocks etc to get more travel.

Surely someone out there has done something with these right side up wp forks?

Since I do not get full travel I may as well put a spacer in the back as well as front although I do use all the travel in back.
