Pre 01 Husaberg 600 dynamometer results.
As received in motard tune (Red) and modified including X2 camshaft (Blue).

Completely stock will produce roughly 48 RWHP depending on the state of tune.

Best Regards,
Dale

Does it run a high comp piston, polished and ported head ?

Lloyd.

Hi Lloyd,
Among many other upgrades a flat top piston and reworked cylinder head compliment the above graphed 600. Since it would require considerable space to list every modification I simply opted to state "modified including X2 camshaft".

Kind Regards,
Dale

My '99 FS600 SM certainly feels as strong as the blue graph. It has foam filters, BigGun exh. & FCR carb. I haven't had it apart to check out what piston/cam combo it has in it but was told by the dealer the previous owner put in a high-comp. piston. It supposedly put out 62 on the dyno, but with no dyno graph to prove it, who's to say? It pulls past 9k, but I don't quite feel comfortable up there. Any thoughts?

Dale, care to list the mods? I'm just curious.

Doug,

In regards to your wheelstand observation, I can't say that I noticed. I have noticed that mine will try to completely loop me in fourth over any sort of rise.

Also, an RD350 with intermittent ignition problems can be a very unpredictable beast when wheelying it for the previous owner, who happens to work for the local cycle dealer. Humiliation knows when to strike the stupid.
