99' Fe400 stock fork height(what is it?)

I've looked all over this site, and in my manuals and can't find what the height of the fork should be(as measured from the top of the triple tree).

Anyone know?

I bought the bike used, and i'm suspecting it was modified, and I want to go to factory settings before I start tweaking things to my preference.

I'd even be open to someone measuring theirs from a similar bike and telling me what it is...

I'm sure some of you have had your forks rebuilt....didn't any of you guys measure the placement of the forks in the triple trees?(I hope...)

In looking at a factory picture of the 99 FE400 I see the top of the tripple clamp is maybe 1/32" below the seam between the top of the fork tube and the fork cap. I on a 2000 and thats where mine is too.
