Picked up a tagged KSO FE 400 and it was puking gas like the float is stuck/leaking. The problem seems to be a worn needle valve (worn rubber tip) so I'm going to do a total rebuild replacing all the brass parts. The CD1 Type Idle emulsion tube was missing so that will be added and I'll drop the choke jet from 45 to 40. Jetting is stock according to a '99 manual but it seems to be a bit rich for Florida sea level 90+ degrees 90% humidity. Any recommendations as a good starting point? Bike was running so rich because of fuel level once I got it running I don't have reference if stock jetting is OK.Stock exhaust still on bike.
