Might have some dirt or crud built up around it. Spray the pin shaft with brake cleaner. Take a nail or small punch and line it up and give it a good wack with a hammer. Should pop right out. The pin will come out on the side closest to the wheel. Clean the pin good and lightly lube before putting it back. Hope this helps.

thanks for the notes Im going in the am to get some wd40 and see if that wont work i thought thats were it should come out its just being stuburn i didnt want to break anything. the rear end as a hole is irrestating me the spacers are also stuck to the inner bearing race maybe i can convice the ol lady to let me buy a new hub and all this time. though its doubtful.

You can free up stuck spacers with WD40 or get some PB Blaster and after a while you can free them up. Takes some time and can be a little messy. I had stuck spacers on my bike but I finally freed them. My bike is a 96 FE 501. Good luck.
