There are 3 manuals, Davie, the Owners manual, Parts Manual and Workshop Manual.
Go to the Husaberg Manufacturer web site, click on Download area Former files and scroll down. You will find 97, 98 and 99 manuals.

The 97 Owners manual is as close as I can get you.
The 98 parts manual is there.
There never was a 98 shop manual that I know of, I use the 99 for my 00.
Under downloads, to the left of this message you will see a yellow UHE menu strip. Go to Downloads under resources, them to parts Lists.
There are 3 pages of downloads there, some of which are unique for the 98. This is where you will find several postings for the 99 Workshop manual, which is about as close as I can get you for your 98. The 98 and 99 SEMs magneto stator and flywheel are different but everything else in the 99 manual is close enough to the 98 that you can use it.
