97 mm Head Gasket

Sorry Taffy,
I no longer have said gaskets in inventory.
Cometic in the USA has my master and will likely oblige those in need.

In a pinch or when one is not available sometimes a viable
option is to make a head gasket from a sheet of copper the correct thickness.All the old british twins used copper head gaskets although that is not much of a recommendation.
My first road racer was a Ducati 350 SOHC bevel gear shaft,it was cool because there was no head gasket,metal on metal, which was handy because I recall having it apart often......nsman

Be sure to use plenty of "Alumi-Seal" leak stopper lest you have built in water injection.

just got the 'puter back dale and posted you straight away before coming to UHE-sorry!

oh well! i think i'll have a look at a gasket and see if i can't weigh up the material around the combustion chamber lip.

trust KTM and husaberg not to share heads yet!

Hi Taffy,
What I have done in the past is remove the OEM gasket fire ring, groove the cylinder and install a piano wire fire ring.

wow! i bet you can buy piano wire 'rings' from OEM bikes or cars as well that may fit i shouldn't wonder?
