'96 Husaberg FE400; Good Year?

Hey Guys,

I have been looking at buying a 1996 Husaberg FE400 from a friend that purchased it new.

The bike has only eight hours an has not been ridden in about 6-7 years. It has been stored in a garage on a stand.

Are there any glitches or problem areas with this year and model?

Do you think that an asking price of $2500 is reasonable?

No it is not reasonable.The newer frames
handle much better.I will sell you a low
hour 2002 for $3200.00

1996 is not bad, overall quality was probably good since this was before the slide. The hours on the bike are low to the point of almost calling it new, but this engine is prior to 97 which was the last update on the old engine. He would have a hard time to get 2500 for it from the general market.

I sold my 1996 KTM 300 for $2000.oo
and it was a far better bike.
