95 FE 501 no idle

Hello everyone,
New to the site. Finaly got my hands on a Husa!!! (I've wanted one since this bike came out)
She does come with some issues though. Bike will not idle and has a flat spot on top of the rpm range.
It takes me 5 or 6 kicks to bring here to life then throttle up or she dies and it won't idle hot or cold. I have adjusted some on the throttle stop screw and the air/mix screw but ran out of time before i could get her where she needs to be. Needle is a K23, main is 185, choke 50 and idle 33. any and all advice will be greatly appreciated

My 97 would barely idle and it plagued me for the longest time. I finally purchased another carb off ebay and when comparing the two it was apparant that the idle screw threads were cut at the wrong spot. They were off just enough to not allow the screw to push the slide up enough to idle.

You may want to try cutting the set screw spring down a bit so the screw will lift the slide a tad bit more.

Hello.
Do you have the roundslide or flatslide carb?
How many turns on the airmixture screw?
If the carb is not cleaned do that first before you do anything else.
What about the size/age of the atomizer? change it if you don`t know.
I change my atomizers every 100-150h,

Thanks for the advice. Air mix is 1 7/8 out carb was recently removed and cleaned ( less than two hrs.) it is a round side Dellorto VHSB 38mm. I have no idea about the atomizer and will look for a replacement. Thank you all again for the knowledge.
